From Class Passes to Term Blocks
From Term 3 we will be moving from Class Passes to Half Term payment blocks.

This means instead of purchasing a 5, 10 or 20 Class Pass, you enrol into a class for the Half Term. If you miss a class you have the opportunity to book a make up class either in another style of class or in the following Half Term block. Up to 2 weeks of make up classes can be transferred to the following block.

Class Charges
Classes will be charged at:
1 class a week – $14
2 or 3 classes a week – First class $14, subsequent classes $10
4 classes a week – First class $14, second and third class $10 each, fourth class $8

Note PBT will only run during school terms, invoices will reflect this.

Benefits of this System

  • Know exactly when your tuition is due as you will be invoiced
  • No more uncertainty as to whether you have any classes left on your Pass
  • You will also not have to worry about booking into individual classes
  • To change enrolment, you just need to email the office to make the necessary changes

From our end it is also going to make serving you, our customers, much easier as it will lessen the amount of work behind the scenes that is currently happening to stay on top of everything. Overall I believe this system will work a lot better for everyone.

Transition from Class Passes to Term Blocks

  • Class Passes are valid until the expiry date or you use it up
  • Once you have used up your Class Pass you will be issued an invoice that reflects your current enrolment from the next class until the end of the block
  • If your Class Pass is about to expire or has, you have the option to move straight onto the block system until the end of this term. (This option is helpful for those wishing to participate in the last 3 weeks of PBT this term as this will be an invoiced class.)

FAQ
What is a Half Term?
Each School Term will be broken up into two blocks.
Block 1 – The week before school starts and the first 5 weeks of term.
Block 2 – The last 5 weeks of term and the first week of holidays.

When will invoices be sent?
Invoices will be sent out 2 weeks before the new block starts and you can change your enrolment for the next block at this time.

What happens at the end of the year when we don’t have classes after the school term ends and the start of the year when we start earlier than one week before school returns?
You will only be charged for classes offered, so any public holidays or short terms will be charged accordingly. The start of the year will be either a separate ‘term’ or we will combine it into the first block.

How to ensure you get the same benefits of the Class Pass through the Payment Block system
We have made each payment block around 6 weeks to give you the opportunity to change your enrolment for any subsequent blocks depending on how many Make Up classes you have accrued in the current block or if you know you are going to be unable to attend classes through the block.

Some Examples:
Ex 1: You are enrolled in 2 classes a week and end up sick for two weeks of the block and are owed 4 make up classes. In the next block you enrol into one of your classes and use your make up classes to attend the other class for 4 weeks.
Ex 2: You only attend 1 class a week and are not interested in using your make up classes to try other styles. You can contact the office when your next block invoice is issued and request up to two weeks discounted off for the missed classes.
Ex 3: You normally attend 3 classes a week but are going away for 3 weeks of a 6 week block. You drop your enrolment to 2 class a week and book make up classes for the other class on the weeks you are there. In the next block you enrol in 2 classes a week and use your remaining 3 make up classes for the additional class. This way you are not carrying over more than 2 weeks of make up classes into the next block.
